Server Errors on outgoing emails

Does anyone know why only today that I can receive emails but am unable to reply or send any emails out.  I keep getting the following message :-

'An error occurred inside the server which prevented it from fulfilling the request'.

Apologies for the delayed response, I am currently looking into a way we can help you with this, I've escalated this issue for you and are awaiting some feedback, once I have this I will send you a message here.

Hello

I don't seem to have received anything.  Last year when I stopped my broadband I was told that I could keep the email address for 2 years and then I would be asked to pay £50 a year.  That was last August/September.  Should I contact TalkTalk again to sort out?  if so do you have the correct phone number to call? I will be calling from overseas.

Non broadband customers will be able to access their email service for free for a short period after they cease their TalkTalk Broadband service. Please double check on your emails if you've received comms from us stating that you should pay for you email service as email service is free to customer who has an active broadband account with us.

Hello 

I log into my TalkTalk account and open my messages but I can't reply or send new messages from my laptop.  I am able to send messages from the same account on my Iphone.  I spent nearly 2 hours on an open chat with several of your colleagues from customer services, technical support etc. and then I got cut off.  I have not gone above my email data quota as I've only used 2.708 GB out of 10 GB.

In addition, I have deleted cookies and cache (browsing data) so that is clear.  I have tried again today and get the following message 

'An error occurred inside the server which prevented it from fulfilling the request'.

I can’t see any questions to answer! Please see attached error messages, received when sending emails from IPad app and Talktalk mail.
