What device(s) are you using?
Android had an update recently and I found that predictive text had stopped all of a sudden. I had to specifically allow Qwerty back via my Samsung settings to get it going again.
It's worth you checking what's going on (and do a wider Internet search for an answer) as it's unlikely to be specific to your webmail with Talktalk.
