I have 4 tiscali email addresses which were all working today upto this afternoon. One of my email addresses i use for company business stopped working and will not now sync with my other email addresses in outlook.
i use incoming mail imap.tiscali.co.uk port 993
outgoing mail STARTLS port 587
It looks as though TALK TALK have cocked things up again! Can someone please sort this out and rectify the problem urgently.

I redone my email address and password yesterday evening and it looks as though this has now solved the problem. Not sure if it was due to this or the tech team in TALKTALK making it a coincidence!

I have been doing more work on this and I am not convinced this is actually a TalkTalk issue. It looks like something has caused the SMTP mail server (outgoing emails) password to be erased in the email client. Alternatively, your email address can be reported as being incorrect.
Thunderbird is simple; putting the password back seems to have resolved the issue.
New Outlook for Windows can be a bit more complex. For more details, please see my post #20 in this thread of mine:-

Another point i forgot to mention is that this problem occurred yesterday when Talk Talk was showing many problems on TALK TALK Down Detector!

No. When i have had problems before (not this one), Outlook refer me back to my ISP.
if it helps, the email in question begins wit an "A" and is the first one listed on my Tiscali emails below outlook emails.... This email has also been subject to a number of spam emails each week since around March this year! Could spam be a reason why Outlook would not sync this email now?

Thank you for this. There's seems to be an issue with the outlook App as most clients are experiencing different issues. Have you tried getting in touch with Outlook over this matter as this is a 3rd-party incident?
