Tiscali ongoing issues

I have just used the live chat to ask why there still seems to be ongoing issues with tiscali emails. I run an accounts and payroll business and, not having received vital emails since Friday, is seriously impacting my being able to do my job efficiently. Live Chat have told me that, despite what is being stated on the status page, the issue has not been resolved and is still being worked on. Perhaps it would be polite for the status page to show the correct information!

I apologise if I have muddied the waters. Clearly there is still an issue. How it may be affecting  your business is another matter.

The weight of my argument is that it is unacceptable to be told that a problem has been resolved when it clearly hasn't! I have been using tiscali for years and at no time has anyone at talktalk told me that I could not receive emails to my account which assists in the day to day running of my business. In fact when I was on Live Chat the gentleman who was dealing with my complaint apologised and I have previously contacted TalkTalk and explained that I rely on emails to contact my Clients. There are people on here who have said they are waiting for vital documents to come through for house sales etc or is that not allowed either? I think you are deliberately mudding the waters here and it is not helping - I accept that things do go wrong but it just makes a bad situation worse when the correct information is not being communicated. The Community has been inundated with people complaining about this situation. Had the status page been accurate then these posts would not have been necessary

I totally agree with you it’s unacceptable to state that it’s fixed when it clearly it’s - mine still don’t come through

Well they may well do, but TalkTalk T&Cs specifically prohibit business use, unless otherwise agreed. So it doesn't add any weight to your argument.

That is a slightly ambiguous response - of course people use their private email addresses for business purposes

It is clearly taking longer than expected. TalkTalk residential do not provide business services.
