Tiscali settings out of date message

When  I am using my laptop I keep getting a message come up saying 'your Tiscali account settings are out of date'.

I had a problem a while ago accessing my emails because of Outlook, but its ok now, as far as I know, as I can now access my emails through Outlook.

Am I going to have a problem at some point with out of date settings?  I am clueless when it comes to this sort of thing.  I tried to phone TalkTalk but I can't get to talk to someone.

Hi there @Viv65, please note that webmail is a website. You can go onto any website and type in TalkTalk webmail, and the page should pull up. Thanks

No I'm not using any other than outlook.

What's Webmail?

What's an operating program? Microsoft?

I haven't had any emails regarding Everymail

Thanks, I'll try to update my profile.

I thought it was an outlook issue. The settings I meant were for outlook.

There are no settings to amend if using Webmail.

Are you using any other programs for email other than Outlook?

Do you get this message when using Webmail? If so have you tried another browser?

What operating programme do you have on the laptop?

Just checking, but have you had any emails regarding Everymail, or see a banner on Webmail about subscribing.

It looks like your profile needs updating from your icons. Could you please update. Thank you.

@Viv65 If this is happening only when using outlook, it could be an issue with that mail client.

TalkTalk changed email settings a couple of years ago now so it was more secure.

In your settings and account, you normally click edit and your incoming and outgoing servers will be shown.

Check against the info on this page and change if necessary and save.

Hope this solves your issue but if not come back for more help.
