I have left TalkTalk for another provider.

When I was thinking of changing I was told, by TalkTalk rep, that I would have to sign up to Everymail, £5/month, to maintain my tiscali email address. However, when entering my email address into Everymail subscription page, it takes me to TalkTalk Email Manager where there is no option to subscribe to Everymail.

I spoke to someone on the phone regarding this, they said I would receive an email with details, although not straight away. This was about a week ago and I haven't received said email yet!

I am getting concerned that my email accounts will be shut down, with a loss of important emails.

Help please

I haven't received an email from TalkTalk giving me subscription options to migrate to Everymail so that I can continue to use my current email address.

Will our data and emails be safe beyond the 31 October or are we going to lose it by that date?

It would appear so.

I believe there are many ex-customers in the same position as myself that haven’t received the Everymail payment option. It could be that TalkTalk are trying to resolve a linking issue, but haven’t yet given assurances that TalkTalk accounts won’t suddenly shut down with out warning or help.

@StGraham, normally former customers are told that the address will continue for 30 days after leaving Talktalk.

Has this now changed, @amahle-TT as it is much longer than that since@StGraham first posted?

They already mentioned then that they had left Talktalk.

Hi,

I tried the link. It just signs me into Webmail. There is still no option to sign up for Everymail subscription.

I was told by a phone representative for TalkTalk that since I was leaving TalkTalk I would have to sign up to Webmail, or lose my email address and all folders etc.

I think, because TalkTalk at the moment, still maintain that facility for me I don't get the option of signing up to pay for the email service. What concerns me is that TalkTalk will delete everything and then offer the facility to sign up, once everything is lost!?

I read somewhere in the Community Chat that accounts will be purged at the end of October (?), which is also worrying?

I am concerned because I read there's a shutdown date which is fast approaching, and keep live option is fast approaching?

I still haven’t received the email you refer to. When can I expect to receive it?

Thank you for confirming there are no restrictions on your emails. You should be able to continue using your email services with no issues, until we send you communication advising you to subscribe to Everymail, which should contain a link for you to subscribe.

At the moment, I’m able to send and receive email. I still can’t see an option for subscribing to Everymail.

Is this issue being resolved, or will TalkTalk maintain my account until it has been?
