HELP. Just tried to access my tiscali email and firstly I was asked to sign in, which I did three times, all of which failed. I came out of it, went back and tried to access, the inbox on left pane etc. showed on left pane, but when clicking on 'focused to read messages - I then got message permission denied. I am using Outlook. What has happened? Can someone please reply urgently.

Thanks for confirming, @GBy1231.
If you were a customer that had previously left and since returned, that's the scenario where it would have been urgent to make sure that the emails and broadband account were correctly recorded as linked to you, or they would have been swept away with all the Everymail transition stuff.
That's why it was important to clarify. It saves staff time checking.
I think you were simply caught up by a glitch today - lots of people also had problems with webmail today, so just waiting was enough for the system to resolve itself. Glad to hear it's sorted.

Panic over. I just tried email again and it all seems to be working now. I have no idea what that was all about - presumably some sort of glitch - or perhaps someone put the plug back in! Anyway, I can relax for now.

I have been with Talktalk using tiscali email address since the year dot. I have a contract with Talktalk for broadband and phone, so I should not have been affected by anything.... I have never left TalkTalk. I am sorry, I do understand what you mean to all old addresses in Private notes - why do I need to do that and how?

If it's an old address and then you returned to Talktalk, it must be linked to your current broadband account, @GBy1231.
Add all old addresses in Private Notes and save changes.
