@Judithw62, for future reference, put your landline phone number or account number in the profile area so that staff always have the information to hand.

 

You shouldn't ever post it on the public forum. Go via your avatar; settings; complete Personal Information. SAVE CHANGES.

I'm  not sure you should be asking me for my phone number on a forum like this, it doesn't feel right so, you have it now and I'm going to delete that comment once you you've acknowledged receipt of it

 A line test is currently underway. This checks the equipment used to provide the broadband service to your home - including the exchange, cabinet and line equipment.

This can take up to 6 minutes to complete. I'll let you know if this test finds a fault, otherwise I'll continue with further checks.

No issues with broadband, but my telephone line is not too clear

As the phone shares cabling with the internet, and TV services utilize the internet, we want to establish if the reported problem is the only issue or if multiple services are being impacted. Please use this information to aid your conversation with the customer

Do you have any active monitoring for life threatening health reasons which is solely dependant upon your TalkTalk Broadband or Telephone line?

For example a care alarm, lifeline, health pendant or fall detector.

The text i am referring to is regarding the line test they did, it said they would send me a message with simple to follow instructions on the 17th July and I heard nothing back. The complaint is related to that and the fact I have been kept waiting so long
