Upcoming PSTN changes

Hi all,

My grandparents have a standard ADSL router and home phone with Talk Talk, just wondered what the impact is going to be when the PSTN retirement comes into effect.

They have a carelink system that uses the phone line and dials out in case of an emergency, so need to know what changes will be happening if any to make sure this continues to work.

Service providers across the UK, including ourselves, are actively testing and trialling equipment and solutions to ensure that customers, like your grandparents, are fully supported when the time comes to switch.
