I've recently noticed that share.google links that I am sent via Whatsapp do not open on my Android phone when using Wifi via my Hub2 Router.
The error message I get is 'This site can't be reached'. The connection was reset. Try Checking the connection'. I get the identical message with both Brave and Chrome browsers. If I deactivate WiFi on my Mobile and use my Lebara service, then the links open.
Is there a setting that I can change in the router (or security setting in My Account?) that will overcome this issue?
Thanks.

Glad that worked, I think the Google DNS is probably the most responsive, there are free adblocking dns but they would likely block the very links you wish to follow.
If you have the time please mark one of these posts as best answer which will save others time in looking.

Sorry @Divsec I wasn't fully awake 🙂
Have changed DNS settings to Google (Primary 8.8.8.8 Secondary 8.8.4.4) and issue has been resolved. Are Google's settings the best alternative or perhaps Cloudfare etc? Thanks.

Hi @aa2000 did you check out the link I added? If you scroll down there is a step by step guide for all the Talktalk routers.

Hi @Divsec , no I haven't, do you think that would be the best solution? Can you point me towards what exactly I need to do? Many thanks.

Hi @aa2000 have you tried changing the DNS settings in your router?
