The BBC have carried out planned maintenance between the 5th-7th February while they completed system updates and improvements. There has been no impact to recordings during the updates. Following the updates there will be a small impact on viewing experience for a further two weeks.
From 7th February 2024 for two weeks
Potential duplicates in Watch List:
- If after the update you press record on a program (only recordable boxes) that is already in your Watch List, a duplicate will appear
- Similarly, if you start watching a program that is already in your list, a duplicate will appear
- The duplicates will both be playable
What's the update for?
- UHD content will include the "UHD" attribute on supported devices
- Reduced content disparity/duplication, and improvements to electronic guide linking
- Improved series ordering
