Due to storms bringing extreme weather conditions over the past few weeks, parts of the Openreach network, which is used to provide your service has been damaged. As a result, some customers may experience disruption to their services.
The worst affected areas are Scotland and north eastern England, but there have been impacts across much of the country. The storm has caused widespread flooding and power outages along with road closures caused by debris , making travel difficult and hazardous. Therefore Openreach have declared an MBORC (matters beyond our reasonable control) for the following areas;
- Highlands and Islands
- North Scotland
- West Scotland
This means there may be delays in restoring service to affected customers, but rest assured the engineers will be working as fast as is safely possible to restore services.
