On the 23rd February 2023 we'll be updating the security settings of our email service.
What's the update for?
We’ve identified customers who could potentially be impacted by these changes on 23rd February. They were notified via email on 21st February to update their settings.
What's changing?
Changes are being made to our Email service to prevent any customer from sending emails from email software or apps which are not setup to support Encryption.
What happens if I don't change my settings?
You will not be able to send emails via the app, you will still be able to read them. You will be able to send and receive emails via talktalk.co.uk/mail
To continue using your current email software or app you'll need to check and ensure the Outgoing Mail settings are set to use Port 587. For all settings see our Email Settings Guide
