Parts of the UK recently experienced extensive lightning storms and heavy rain, which caused damage to the Openreach network. As a result of this, customers are reporting a higher number of faults than usual.
Openreach have told us that fault repairs in the below areas will be delayed while they work through the backlog:
- North East Scotland
- Exeter
- Swansea & West Wales
Openreach is taking steps, including sending extra engineers into these areas, to return their services back to normal as soon as possible. We'll continue to monitor the situation and update you with progress from the Openreach team. Thank you for your patience.
