Latest Update: Openreach has confirmed that the below areas are no longer impacted and repairs are being completed as normal.
Parts of the UK recently experienced extensive lightning storms and heavy rain, which has caused flooding and damage to the Openreach network. As a result of this, customers are reporting a higher number of faults than usual. Openreach have advised that fault repairs in the below areas will be delayed while they work through the backlog:
Openreach is taking steps, including sending extra engineers into these areas, to return services back to normal ASAP. These are some of the worst conditions seen in the region in the last thirty years and Openreach expects it could be three to four weeks before they return to normal.
