Cost cutting at customer services

I see customer services have reduced their hours and don't operate on a Sunday. I'm sure I have contacted them before on a Sunday or has it always been like this. Surely  they should operate on a Sunday or does come down to money. Other providers operate on a Sunday Thanks.

@norfolkdave, I think you are just looking at the support line times for 03451 720088. The Chat times on Sundays work for technical issues as below, but as @mandisa1-TT, says, you may need to use your mobile data to access Chat.

Similarly if your landline were down any other day, you'd need to use Chat or phone in on a mobile.

I would advise switching to mobile data to report a fault if it is a Sunday. You can also report the fault via your online my account and complete checks there.

How can I use Live Chat if my internet isn't working.? Why is customer support/ Tech Support/ Full Fibre Support phone lines not open on Sunday?

Thanks for you quick reply. I see live chat operates on a Sunday but  customer support/tech support/full fibre support is not available'  which means you have to wait till Monday if the internet isn't working. I just think customer support should open on a Sunday for a better service. Thanks

They open on Sundays

@norfolkdave, it's mostly phoning customer services that is not available on Sundays. That's been the case for several years [they expanded access I think briefly during the pandemic, but it was a different contact number then].

Chat services are open for nearly everything on Sundays.
