Hi people,
I haven't been able to access my 2 accounts with microsoft for the last month. I tried re-setting the password, tried logging in with a different computer and everything, but I'm told the problem is with the broadband. I have no idea if that is true, but this is the message I get:
"Please retry with a different device or other authentication method to sign in. For more details, please see this link"
I even tried to open a new account, but still no luck. This is what I get:
Request Id: 9aeefe42-f649-4361-9a0e-5f0ba560f800
Correlation Id: 68519d83-c3d9-4e0b-bbd9-e6885eab3f4e
Timestamp: 2026-01-17T16:05:42Z
Message: AADSTS900561: The endpoint only accepts POST requests. Received a GET request.
Does anyone have any idea how to solve this problem?
Thanks for any help in advance

As mentioned this does not seem to be a TalkTalk related issue so I've moved to the lounge area in case another customer can offer help.

Try this
https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/category/Outlook
This forum can really only help with TalkTalk email issues or where it's clear the issue is with TalkTalk systems.
As such you are at the whim of other customers who may have an option for you and support staff will not be able to help.

Yes, that is what I'm saying. I tried all of that numerous times.
Nothing worked.

Hi fr8ys,
Thanks for the reply,
I can't access my e-mail account with a mobile because my phone is really old, and it doesn't give me access to the internet (I know, I know...), and as for microsoft, I tried following all the steps they give us, tried recovering the accounts, but nothing worked. All I get is the same message over and over again " please try using a different device ".
And they don't even have the decency of having a live chat where we can talk to support. I've searched through the whole site and I don't see nothing like that in terms of costumer support.

This might help you

Hi,
Bit sure why you think this is a broadband issue as TalkTalk do not block websites and I have no issues with accessing my Hotmail accounts.
Have you tried accessing on a mobile phone with your WiFi turned off, i.e. using your mobile data?
If you can't access via this method then it would be an issue with Microsoft and I'd suggest you reach out to them for a resolution either via their forum or direct.
