Hey,

Is one of the forum staff able to cease my service? there's a chat button on the "cancel your TalkTalk service" help article but that appears to serve only to cause pain and misery, now I know what the Teskey brothers where singing about... 🙂

Been unable to get anyone on the phone as I've been unable to keep holding for long enough, chat said someone would call me back, still waiting.

We always recommend making the phone call yourself, but you do need to sit through the options, say "thinking of leaving" or "cancel" or whatever.

It's quicker in the end than not knowing when a callback is coming from Talktalk  - Chat is not authorised to finish off that process without you picking up that phone call, so it's worth picking a chunk of time that suits you, @stephen_ploddingalong.

In theory you can write in instead - take a look at the full Ts&Cs linked at the foot of any Talktalk page. Of course that method is slow as it takes time to get an acknowledgement.

You can't do it by email and nor can forum staff do this on your behalf, I'm afraid.
