I have been with TalkTalk from the start and my account is Fibre 65 which includes fixed price plus.
For the last two years when discussing price with customer service I have always been told that as long as I remain on fixed price plus my price each April will only increase by CPI plus 3%. I am really angry that TalkTalk have now increased my price by £4 per month.
If you are not prepared to honour the fixed price plus deal I will have no hesitation to move elsewhere, there are plenty of deals out there and currently YouFibre is installing in my area with 200mb for for £20 per month.
Would you please investigate this for me and come back with an offer to stay on fixed price plus

I was out of contract and was always assured that as long as I didnt take out a new contract my price would only increase By CPI and in fairness they only increased my Fibre 65 from £20.00 to £20,50 last April. But as they are fond of doing they have and will change terms and conditions and not honour what you have been promised.
The following applies to me
Out of contract customers who contracted before 12 August 2024, a price increase of £4 will apply. We feel that offering a fixed price increase is clearer and easier to understand than our previously communicated approach of CPI plus 3.7% and makes it easier for you to see the price paid throughout your contract with us.
I have now taken a new contract at £24 month for two years including Half price anytime calls £8 month for two years. They are also giving me 3 months free which makes it worthwhile. prices will increase by £4 month each April

I suspect you may not be on Fixed Price Plus. I renewed for 24 months in June last year. Although the contract documents which I received don't mention FPP the chat transcript says:
You have chosen our Fixed Price Plus promotion.
Fixed Price Plus means that the price of your broadband remains the same during the minimum contract term and will increase by no more than £3 thereafter.
When your contract ends, we promise to never increase your price above £3 while you pay for this promotion.
My expectation is that the amount I pay won't change until April 2028, and then by £3 per month. I have just had this April's bill, and there has not been an increase.

Ofcom states that accounts from pre January 2025 can still be charged using CPI plus 3.7% look on Ofcom site

This cannot be tackled through the forum any more, @TrevorW1 - see the post at the top of any message board and in Community Star signatures.
Recent answers on here drew a blank, as Talktalk has understood Ofcom's ruling to mean that it is no longer possible to offer CPI related increases - only fixed £ amounts.
The best solution for people in this situation has been to renew their contract to take advantage of a lower starting price, despite fixed £ price increases. You need to be near the end of a contract [within 90 days] or out of contract to set this up without risking admin charges.
