Good evening,
I am coming to you as I need help for the socket.
As you can see from the picture, the main socket is not in a top condition… we bought a new house and when we arrived the set up was like that.
Plugging the cable into the front cover does not work hence why the cable is directly plugged into the main part of the socket.
The socket was attached to the wooden door which we changed, hence why it is now even worse.
I can easily remove the piece of wood and tidy the cable under a cover but I am not sure how to fix again the socket on the wall and tidy the cover…
any advice?

I'm sorry to hear this.
Are there any other sockets in the property or is this the only one?
Is the service working but only when connected to the test socket?
