My contract is coming to an end. Generally happy with speed, avg 29.5, very old house and infrastructure. However, struggle to stream on TV particularly when daughter streaming upstairs. Latest Netgear extender with all mod cons has helped downstairs. My question is this, my TT router is Sagecom from Jan 2021. (FAST 5364 - 3TB TalkTalk Wi-Fi Hub version SG4K10001400). It looks the same as on the TT website now. Is the latest TT router a better one than the one I have now or the same. I'm thinking of going to BT just to get a more up to date router with better WiFi range, but would stay with TT if their latest router is better than my current one? If I can get one of course.
Any help/advice welcome. Thanks

Hi andypr
Sending another router would rule out any faults with your current router.
Thanks

Thanks, would this be the exact same as my current one? If so, I don't think it's worth it.

Many years ago, and were good, but I'm talking 15/20 years ago, before streaming. I think the problem is more poor wifi for the router. Also the latest powerline look very expensive, partic if they don't solve the problem. your thought/experience appreciated.

Hi Andy
I can send you another router, but this would be a Sagemcom WIFI hub. Would you like to try a replacement router to see how the connection compares?
Thanks

Hi @andypr your post has been escalated but have you tried powerline adapters?
