When I check my network status on 192.168.1.1 it tells me that I have no internet access:
But, when I check in My Account:
What's going on? Do I need a new router?

Morning,
Would you like us to send a replacement router for testing purposes to rule this out? We would also send a router returns bag so that one of the routers can be returned.

Perhaps the router needs to be replaced, I'll contact TalkTalk for you about this.
They aim to respond within 48 hours (Monday - Friday) excluding Bank Holidays, but if more urgent you can always try the Service Centre on 0345 172 0088. The posts are responded to in time/date order, oldest first. Please try to avoid posting on here until TalkTalk has responded to you, otherwise, this will just put you further down the queue.
To save yourself time, please make sure that your community profile includes your first & last names, broadband phone number & if possible an alternative contact number. This can be done by clicking on your Avatar picture then click on "My Settings" followed by:-
Personal Profile > Personal Information
Otherwise, TalkTalk will not be able to tie up your forum username to your broadband account. Only you & TalkTalk have visibility of your details.

Thanks for contacting me. I left the screen on for several minutes and pressed refresh a couple of times, but it still shows Internet Connection Status as Disconnected. I appear to have an internet connect so perhaps I shouldn't worry. However, I don't like this sort of anomaly!

Sometimes that screen on the router does take a minute or two to update. Does your connection actually work & it is just this screen that is wrong, or does it not work at all?
