I think we pay for 70 MBPS and usually got 30-50 which was quite adequate for our needs. However lately, it's gotten really slow, especially at weekends and evenings. Currently it's about 2mbps which is just about usable but it often goes down to 0.1 for long periods which is very frustrating as you can imagine.
I need an adequate speed and stability to do my work. How do I get this remedied?
thanks in advance

Hello,
Ok thanks for confirming. If it only seems to happen of an evening then do you have a wired device that you could test with just to rule this out? If the wired speeds are fine then we can offer additional advice on the wireless connection.
Thanks

Thanks for checking this Michelle. I only use it wirelessly. The speed is okay right now (8am). I'll see what happens later and try switching off the router if necessary

Morning,
I'm sorry to hear this. I've run a test on the line now which hasn't detected a fault. The sync speed looks very consistent/stable and the connection also looks stable. Have you tried powering down the router for a full 30 minutes as this will reset the current session and can often increase the throughput speed? Are you connected wired or wireless when this happens please?
Thanks
Michelle
