I have not been receiving emails sent from FIT@remits.edfenergy.com for some time. Edf tell me that it is because it is part of a bulk email where they are sending thousands of remittance emails to other customers. They suggest adding their email address as a safe sender. How do I do that, please?

Hello,
Do you still need assistance with this?
Thanks

Hi grayfriars
Just a follow up from me as I've not heard back from you.
Here's some information from the EDF mail delivery service SocketLabs on How email bounces are handled and how their clients like EDF will manage the Suppression List.

Hi grayfriars
Did you manage to fix the issue with one of the workarounds by liaising with EDF?

There is no ability to whitelist or add to a safe sender list.
I can see that the return-path domain should be email-od.com and that does have a valid SPF file to authenticate sending so no reason to believe that TalkTalk would block that at a network level.
What normally happens with bulk mailers is that the bulk mailer has difficulty in delivering your mail messages for whatever reason. e.g. the inbound MX server bounces back as an unavailable or undeliverable mailbox. The bulk mailer then puts a stop on sending to your email address purely as a protection against being listed for spamming for mailboxes that are undeliverable because the mailbox is rejecting for unwanted 'spam' mail.
So, your mailbox is probably working OK but not receiving because there's a suppression on sending. So there are two workarounds.
