Good afternoon,
I have had a tiscali account for many years and recently have been unable to send emails- I receive a message stating that whatever email address I try and send to- is not a valid email address and has been rejected by the server.
I have a talk talk broadband and mobile account too.
Please can someone tell me why this is happening and tell me how it can be rectified?
Also- my son has a tiscali email address too and this is happening to him- but he doesn't have a Talk Talk account. He has received a massage stating he will have to subscribe?
Please advise what he should do

At the moment you do not have any active account with us, you requested a home move in June when your account was disconnected, and the request was cancelled due to a new provider advising that they are taking over at your new address. Another order was place, and it was also cancelled and the moment you do not have any active broadband account.

The number I provided on my Profile is on my contract - dated 16/07/2025.
I recently moved house and contacted you to advise that I would need Broadband at my new address.
Can you take a look at my name / email address and tel no and see what my customer number is via that?

I can complete a web form for you to remove your email addresses from the Everymail migration and restore your email functionality. Since you mentioned that you have an active broadband account with us, you won’t need to subscribe to Everymail. Please update your profile with your active broadband account details so that I can locate your account more easily.

No- just my son who received the Everyman Subscription message.
I did not receive that message- presumably because I have a Talk Talk Broadband account and Mobile with talk Talk.
Should he subscribe to it?
Will his email address change?.
I tried to respond to your message on my email on my mobile but again received the unable to send message.
We are both still able to receive emails to our Tiscali email addresses - will this change?
However neither of us is able to send an email from out Tiscali email address.

I wanted to inform you about some changes that took place at TalkTalk. As part of these changes, our active email users who were not broadband customers were transitioned to Everymail, which is an Open-Xchange (OX) email product. Unfortunately, inactive orphan email accounts were deleted shortly after this transition.
On June 17, 2025, we notified our active orphan customers (those who do not have broadband) that their email accounts would be closed on October 31, 2025. We also mistakenly informed some active broadband customers due to their email not being linked to their broadband accounts. Additionally, those who may have had services disconnected and later returned, with email addresses linked to disconnected accounts, were affected by this change.
If you hadn’t used your mailbox for two months, you were given the option to either move to a paid email service with Every mail or have your email account deleted. I have removed the email addresses you have added on your post, please reframe from posting such information on a forum in the future. Please confirm if you have received any email from us advising you to sign up to everymail or is it only your son that did?
