What’s going on? Nothing received since Monday. I have not altered settings so what is the problem?

Hi Sklaffer, your mailbox is showing as having full service. Follow Gondola's advice and check you've definitely got the correct settings.

Good to know that TalkTalk Mail webmail is working. To troubleshoot the eM Client you could set up a different client like Thunderbird to test that your incoming tiscali mail can be downloaded into your computer via Thunderbird's Inbox. This is to check to see if your tiscali mailbox is limited to webmail only access.

The eM Client setting description is slightly unusual as follows:

On the POP3 / IMAP tab

  • Host: mail.talktalk.net
  • Port: 995(POP3) or Port: 993(IMAP)
  • Security policy: Use SSL/TLS on special port (legacy)
  • Authentication: Use these credentials
User name: the full talktalk email address
    Password: the talktalk email password
  • Select OK

Let us know if there are still problems connecting.

Message sent to own email from apps.talktalk.co.uk which arrived immediately. Nothing on eM client which usually receives all my emails on the desktop.

Check to see if your messages arrive in webmail. Once signed in to webmail, compose and send the same mailbox a message to check the message appears in the Sent objects folder and then arrives in the Inbox.

Let us know if you don't see the message in the Inbox.
