Deleting several years of emails

I have bought a new computer and setting up fresh email. The system is trying to download emails 2,000! from years back and obviously I can't delete that many. It is causing my mailbox to stop. it says there are 16919 to go. How can I get these deleted from the server

Hi angela462, you can delete them in TalkTalk Webmail.
