I have, after several.months of trying, managed to upgrade my TV package because the one I was paying for - YouView - is no longer supported by TalkTalk and it stopped working quite some time ago. Will i be sent a new TV box? I should hope so as I'm being charged for TV. Unsurprisingly, no email confirming the upgrade and I didn't even get email confirmation when I renewed my broadband. I've checked that the email address is correct on my TT account and I sometimes receive emails from TT Community, but not important emails regarding my account.
Anyway, can anyone please tell me if I'll get a new TV box? I don't want to spend hours on the phone or chat just to request something that TT should send me anyway as part of the TV package I'm paying for.

@WaRRioR1976 I have looked into the account for your TalkTalk TV package is still inactive, as you placed the order today. However the equipment (TalkTalk TV Hub) has been ordered, and you should receive it 2 to 3 working days.

While waiting for @mandisa1-TT to look into this for you, you need to be aware that the box supplied by TalkTalk under the new package does not record. It does however have access to the upto date Apps do you can stream catch up.
If recording is important to you, there is a thread under technology within the lounge that discusses recordable boxes that may be of interest.
