I have  sent e-mails to numerous e-mail address, TalkTalk and AOL mail. They show in my 'Sent' folder but none arrive in my 'Inbox' or my friends AOL mail 'Inbox'.

The mails seem to get placed on the mail server but the server is not sending them onwards.

All was working correctly until 7:36am today but have not worked this afternoon, and are still not working.

Please don't do anything ! I managed to get past the error message and revert my password. More of the e-mails that failed are now arriving in their destinations. I suspect the reboot of the server that was being performed and prevented my password change has fixed the problem and is now gradually catching up with the backlog of failed e-mails.

Thanks

Nope, that's made no difference . . . now, when I try to revert back to my old password I'm informed "there is a temporary fault with the TalkTalk server, please try again later".
But . . . . a couple of the e-mails that failed earlier today have now arrived at their destination but the rest still haven't arrived.

There is obviously a latency or overload problem with the TalkTalk server. Please can you investigate this.

Thanks

You need to reset the passwords on both accounts to ones not previously used and retest. If that doesn't work let me know and add both affected email addresses in private notes on your community profile.

Update 1 : I've tested this by sending e-mails from my PC (internet) AND from my phone and see the same problem, so this is not a settings problem - both methods show the e-mails in the 'Sent' folder but no e-mails arrive at their destination.

Update 2 : My wife's account is experiencing the same problem.

*** This now becoming urgent ***

Thanks
