After a continuous 12 years of receiving emails from Parkrun containing my run results and weekly requests for volunteers, since early November, the emails have suddenly stopped. I have contacted Parkrun who have informed me that their emails sent to me have been rejected by your servers. A subsequent attempt by Parkrun to send a further email has also failed to arrive. This is a most unsatisfactory state of affairs - and no, the emails have NOT ended up in my SPAM folder.
I note that an almost identical problem was raise in a post from "davey boy" on 6/02/2023 but I am not sure whether a completely satisfactory solution was achieved.
It may or may not be a coincidence but since the lack of receipt of bona fide emails from Parkrun, my inbox has been inundated daily with easily identifiable SCAM emails purporting to come from NETFLIX, the AA,John Lewis, Cazeus, Currys and others! This suggests to me that your filters for discriminating between genuine and SPAM/SCAM emails are in urgent need of review.
Please could I repeat Davey Boy's request of 6/02/23 to investigate why the Parkrun email were bounced and prevent this from happening in the future.
