I am also having trouble logging in to my Tiscali email - I have forgotten the password and the recovery email is being directed to the email address that I have forgotten the password to...can anybody suggest a way to fix this problem?

Right now I suggest waiting a bit and trying to sign in a bit later using the normal password. The reason I say try later is because there are sign in authentication issues for some mail users and when those issues are fixed you'll be able to sign in here to TalkTalk Mail (webmail).
In the mailbox you'll find Update your reset details is an option on the main menu.
