Today, I received an email from TalkTalk that says:

"Earlier this year, we let you know about some upcoming changes to your TalkTalk email service. Today, we’re writing with a further update to help you stay informed.

We’ve continued to provide your TalkTalk email service free of charge for some time. However, as you’re no longer a TalkTalk broadband customer, we’re unable to continue offering it at no cost."

I never received any earlier message about the TalkTalk email service. More importantly, it is incorrect to say "you’re no longer a TalkTalk broadband customer", because TalkTalk is my provider.

The issue here is that the email accounts are linked to a previous TalkTalk account. Please can these email accounts be transferred to my current TalkTalk account. I can provide account details by private message.

Hi,

Yes, please start your own thread as each case is considered unique and it is easier for support to be given to one person per thread and also less confusing.
To start your thread click the Browse button, then Help With Your Service and select the appropriate category. You will then see a Blue Button "Start A Topic"
Please also note that you should only post back on that thread and not start another on the same topic as multiple posts cause delay to you and others seeking help.
Thank you

I have updated my profile with my current account number and my email address. Is there anything else I need to do here?

I have received the exact same email with the same incorrect assertion that I am not a TalkTalk broadband customer. I know my current account number and the email address affected, but do not know my old account number, whatever that is. How will updating my community profile with the info that I have cause a link to be made so I will not be charged for keeping the same old email address I've always had?

Or you can complete your profile with the current account number in the profile and your old account number with details of the email addresses completed in the private note field to save time. Only you and staff can see the private notes.

Please post back when done.
