Move email to folder appears to have moved!

The move email to folder box appears to have been moved.  It was on the same opening page as the list of emails before.   You clicked the 3 dots and the dropdown had Move and you could select all the emails to go into specific folders.    BUT now this has changed, when you click the 3 dots, you get as per the attached photograph MOVE ALL MESSAGES (I don't want to move my whole email inbox).   You have to click on EACH individual email and open it so get the 3 dots to show Move each email.   This is of no use if you have to move bulk emails as I often do, to a particular folder as you have to open every email individually.   Why on earth has this been changed to make things more difficult.Move has gone from homepageMove has gone from homepage

@kimswim

I am not a regular user of webmail. The image below shows how it appears to me using the default layout (which is list view).

Move emailMove email

Clicking on the three dots marked with a red arrow, gives you the 'Select all messages', 'Move all messages', 'Delete all messages' options as you have seen.

After selecting messages with a tick as shown in the image above, another menu appears. This is the menu that I marked with a green arrow. This is the menu for actions on the selected emails. The icon that I have circled is for moving emails.

If you do not see this other menu, I cannot explain why. That would be something for TalkTalk to investigate.

After selecting the emails, you should also have the option of dragging them to another folder.

If that does not work for you, that would also be something for TalkTalk to investigate.

TalkTalk is fine, when there are no issues, but getting issues resolved can be a real headache.

@kimswim I am sorry to hear that you are unhappy with these changes, it the updates done on the site that might have changed it. Please use the available way to move emails as we unable to change it back.

This is how it used to be but it has changed.    As you can see in the image I provided the Move is not there under the 3 dots by the opening page, only "Move all" messages.     You now have to open each individual email and that's when the Move is shown.   Before you could just tick all the emails you want to move in bulk, click the 3 dots and move them to the relevant folder, now you cannot do this.  Please read the original post properly.

@kimswim

After you have selected the emails that you want to move, click on the Move icon, the one marked in the image below:

Move Email IconMove Email Icon

and select the folder that you want to move them to.

Alternatively, after selecting the emails you want to move, drag them to the folder that you want to move them to.
