How do I move an email to a folder? I used to get a drop box, now I don’t. I’ve seen the tip to right click on the email but I don’t know how to do that as I haven’t got a mouse for my iPad. Please help, thanks

@Hilary73

The dropdown menu that includes Move is accessed by selecting the email, and tapping/clicking on the 3 dots in the email header.

I have subsequently seen that some other users have reported that toolbars are missing, and as yet no solution has been suggested.

TalkTalk is fine, when there are no issues, but getting issues resolved can be a real headache.
Incorrect information on TalkTalk help pages is unhelpful.

Hi there @Hilary73, thank you for reaching out please follow the below steps, thanks.

1. Open Your Webmail: Launch the webmail app or website you use (like Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc.).

2. Select the Email: Tap on the email you want to move. This will usually open the email.

3. Look for the Move Option:

  • In most webmail interfaces, there will be an option at the top of the screen that looks like a folder or says "Move" or "Move to."
  • Tap on this option.

4. Choose the Destination Folder: A list of folders will appear. Tap on the folder where you want to move the email.

5. Confirm the Move: The email should now be moved to the selected folder.

If you don't see the move option, you might also find a three-dot menu (⋮) or a similar icon that can provide additional options, including moving the email.
