Not Receiving Emails Auto Forwarded

Since about Thursday I'm not getting any emails that are auto forwarded from my many Freeola web domains to my lineone.net email address. I've had the auto forwarding on for years and all of a sudden it has stopped. Freeola say it might be blocked!

There are other emails that I used to get that I'm signed up for that I don't get any more, one of which was TopCashBack, they said they were blocked, why?

If the sent mail received in your Lineone mailbox is from one of your freeola domains then that's good. I'm not aware of any changes made on Thursday.

Auto forwarding is not a reliable method of receiving mail.

To enable further investigation please provide from your Freeola Inbox from the header of one of the 'unreceived' email messages the Return-Path: domain and the From: domain.

Why then has this changed since Thursday? No emails at all get auto forwarded.

I've done another test with the same email that I get both on auto forwarding from my Freeola email and on my Lineone email. It wasn't auto forwarded but I got it on Lineone.

Which means that the freeola address and servers are not rejected but unauthenticated auto forwarded mail may be liable to rejection depending on the original sender's DMARC policy. TalkTalk Mail checks the SPF file of the original sender. If that file has a strict policy of not allowing freeola servers to send on the mail and the DMARC policy is to reject or quarantine then your mailbox will not see that auto forwarded mail.

There are no filter rules defined in the Lineone mailbox. I've done a bit of testing. I removed auto forwarding from one account and sent myself an email to my Lineone address which got through, put auto forwarding back on and nothing comes through again. Weird. Any ideas please?

Blocking is either at the mailbox level by Filter rules in the Lineone webmail mailbox or by the network system responding to unauthenticated mail or by detecting spam either from email content or users marking mail from freeola servers as sending spam.

Make sure that there are no filter rules defined in your Lineone mailbox. Desktop browser Main menu, Settings, Mail or Email and then Filter rules.

I don't know I will ask. Don't know why it would have changed since Thursday. Would they be blocked at the Talk Talk end?

Does freeola re-write the email header so the email authentication is provided by freeola?

TalkTalk requires fully authenticated mail which is not always provided by auto forwarding.
