Ask us about your TalkTalk email account and Webmail.

I have updated the email settings on Outlook and on my iPhone email app, so they are both using encryption (using IMAP). I can send emails via Outlook on my PC and via my iPhone email. This means there is no problem with my password for the email account.
I can access my emails via webmail and receive/send emails fine.
I have changed all my email settings and need my email reactivated?
Many thanks.

Hi invisibleman, I've added your mailbox to those to be restored to normal function. Please allow 48 hours for the change to complete.

Thank you for responding to this issue.
I have add the (master) pipex email address which is not receiving emails, to my Community profile, Personal information, Private notes section.

Please add the master pipex email address, or other TalkTalk Mail address that needs to have IMAP4 / POP3 access restored, to your Community profile, Personal information, Private notes.
Good to know that webmail is fully functioning for send and receive. I've asked that full access is restored for the mailbox email address.
TalkTalk Support will respond here and then restore IMAP4 / POP3 access as soon as reasonably possible. Until full access is switched back on, use TalkTalk Mail webmail via an up to date Internet browser to keep in touch with email contacts.
Are you confident that no help is necessary checking other services / devices / email software for compatibility with TLS 1.2 encryption and the incoming and outgoing server settings in use? Did you identify the insecure settings, for example? The culprit device or software that got mailbox access switched off was because ports 25 (SMTP) or 110 (POP) or 143 (IMAP) were used on either the iPhone or Outlook 2016 that I assume you're still using?
