Recently moved my emails from desktop to a laptop, tried to reply to an email and get this message
Sending of the message failed.
The message could not be sent because connecting to Outgoing server (SMTP) failed. The server may be unavailable or is refusing SMTP connections. Please verify that your Outgoing server (SMTP) settings are correct and try again.
Not sure how to overcome this.

Hi Ady, I had a techy friend do the set up on my new laptop, but this morning I did some more searching and found I had the wrong port number so changed that and it is all good now, thanks for your help.

Hi Bloodboy, did you follow the Email Settings help article when you setup mail on your laptop?
