I have/had an old dsl.pipex.co.uk email account and I was having certificate not verified issues so I deleted from iPhone but now I can't seem to set it up again. I am not sure what the password for it might have been or how to access it now. I would like to gain access to it again. Can anyone advise about how I can do this?

When you've provided that information please send me another Personal Message including an alternate email address for the reset tool.

As I said in post 6, hoping it'll get picked up on Monday. I cannot promise as I don't have a view on how busy the workflow is and whether the topic is allocated to a TT Staff member on duty.
But Monday onwards is when to look out for a TT Staff response as there's normally no scheduled duties over the weekends.

No worries, I'll let TalkTalk know that the password recovery options aren't available. A TT Staff member will need to verify you as the registered email user and set up your password recovery alternate email address and mobile number (the Reset details) so you can send a password reset link or code to authenticate a password change.
To proceed, please update your Community Profile Personal Information (Click here) to include your name, current landline and mobile contact 'phone numbers and address with postcode (location) then scroll down to Private notes and add the email address needing recovery and Save changes.
In due course a TalkTalk Community TT Staff member will reply here and then Community Personal Message you to confirm your customer account details and or details related to the original registration of the email address.
When verified the Reset details will be set up during a working week within 24 hours allowing you to set an upgraded password via the Forgotten your Password journey.
Make sure the password is ultra-strong and unique to the mailbox.

Hi Gondola, thanks for the reply. The password recovery is not an option as it will send email to the account that I can't access.

Sorry to see you deleted the email account from the iPhone as the certificate issue earlier today was resolved by TalkTalk. The email account on the iPhone would have automatically recovered.
Looking on the positive side it gives you the opportunity to upgrade the password and make sure you have password recovery options set up.
First step is to see if you do have password recovery options and not just a single option to send a reset to the mailbox itself. Use the Forgotten password button in the help page Changing your email password and let us know what happens on that journey. If there are multiple reset options do you recognise, from the hints given, an accessible password recovery email address or mobile number.
If there's no alternative password recovery options let me know and I'll request assistance from TalkTalk to help you set up password recovery.
