I've removed your gmail address from the paste for your security.
I can see a reason for TalkTalk's CloudMark spam protection to reject that inbound mail. Not because it wasn't authenticated but because the sender IP address is blacklisted by SORBS SPAM. For both emails the sender IP addresses are in the same block range of permitted senders. Both are being flagged by SORBS SPAM but clearly one is accepted and one is rejected. Which may imply there's extra spam information on the IP address that didn't get through.
Both CloudMark and SORBS SPAM are owned by ProofPoint so the CloudMark sender intelligence engine will certainly take input from the spam traps set by SORBS to identify spam senders.
When automattic.com improve the sender reputation by stopping spam sending then the inbound mail will flow freely once more. The spam issue isn't their fault because it's going to be the Wordpress users or other users of the automattic.com hosting that are spamming.
In the meantime you have a workaround because Gmail is accepting the inbound mail.

It's not what I asked you to do but it does tell me that mail is being sent by automattic.com mail servers that are one of the 5 lists of permitted mail servers previously identified by wordpress.com. Looks like automattic.com are the hosting service for the Blogs.
It doesn't help to identify a positive reason for some of their mail not arriving.

Wordpress.com has 5 lists of mail servers permitted to send mail. One of these lists is for Sendgrid. If all of the Blogs are sent by Sendgrid servers and your email address was on the Sendgrid suppression list then you'd get no blogs. If some sending IP addresses are blacklisted for sending spam then mail would be rejected by TalkTalk. But other IP addresses may be clear.
Now you're saying that you do get some emails. I cannot tell if these are all from the same servers. You may get other messages delivered by one of the other 4 sets of permitted servers so we need to focus on what's happening to the regular Blog daily message.
Just for the Blog email issue, in Gmail select one Blog email for each day. Inspect the normally hidden header in a desktop browser view by selecting the triple vertical dots icon top right and from the menu select Show original. Scroll down the header to find the first line that starts Received: from ... by mx.google.com with ESMTPS
Received: from ... (...[NNN.NNN.NNN.NNN]) by mx.google.com with ESMTPS
There will be a server name enclosed in rounded brackets and in the square brackets an IP address. List the server names and IP addresses for the last 7 days of the Blog mail messages.

I do receive 2 -3 per week just not every day is this the same issue you mentioned it seems odd I receive some and not all I dont check my gmail as its a pain

Hi volvo3389
I can confirm that mail sent from wordpress.com is SPF authenticated. TalkTalk would accept authenticated inbound mail.
I can see that mail is authorised to be sent by the Sendgrid mailing service. I would therefore suspect that mail to your TalkTalk Mail email address is actually not being sent because Sendgrid have got your email address on their suppression list because of some previous difficulty with delivery. i.e. their mail was bounced back so after a failed retry they've stopped sending. Sendgrid Suppressions List
If you're OK with receiving the daily blog mailing to your Gmail address then nothing needed on your part other than to let us know. If you wish to resume getting the daily blog to your TalkTalk address then you'll need to contact the Digamextra customer service team and ask for their email admins to remove your TalkTalk email address from the Sendgrid email suppressions list.
Let us know either way so we can follow up if necessary.

Is this it
DigameXtra <donotreply@wordpress.com>
on 16-01-2024 10:48 AM
The digamextra.com website is on wordpress name servers but that domain on those name servers does not have an SPF authentication file. So, if the blog is sent from digamextra.com then TalkTalk does not accept unauthenticated mail messages.
Look at the email received in your Gmail mailbox and that should have a line in the email header starting
Return-Path: <emailaddress@domain>
(View source or show original to see the normally hidden header).
For the email address in the chevron brackets <> tell me what the domain part of the email address is. I can then look up the SPF file to see if it is authenticated.
