I have had an email stating that 5 emails have been blocked and that from 6th December I wont be able to receive or send emails,. The email took me to a fuzzy screen and asked me to log on and asked for my email and password.  It all looked very suspicious so I got out of the eamil and raised a wuestion her. What is the advice?

Hi,

Does it purport to be from TalkTalk. Hover over the sender and I very much doubt its from a TalkTalk address.

Its a well known phishing svam which usually gets blocked but is for some reason evading the spam filters.

Delete it and as you have clicked on the link run a virus scan to ensure nothing malicious has been downloaded

TalkTalk have requested that spam mail be reported to them.
How to do this can be found here

Thank you.

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries.
