Secretsales

I am being bombarded with emails saying my email account is sending out viruses etc and the account will be closed time and time again. They often spell Talktalk wrong and looking at the sender it says secret sales. I know it must be phising emails I just wondered if anyone else was receiving them.

Yes, I received an email from 'secretsales' a couple of hours ago.

'secretsales' is not the full email address of the sender.

If you look at the whole email, you will see that after the '<secretsales@' there is the domain of the sender. This sender seems to be able to change his email domain name, frequently. (I don't know how he does it.)

But what you will notice, is that the email domain you see, will be completely unknown, and will not match at all with any of TalkTalk's domains. So it cannot be from TalkTalk. Therefore it is 100% phishing.

So the only thing you can usefully do with it and other 'secretsales' is to put them in the bin.

TalkTalk probably already knows about this one.
