I am trying to set up Outlook so I can send work emails e.g. info@workdomainname.co.uk when working from home and using my talktalk broadband.
Incoming mail server is pop3 which is fine and I have settings to receive email- unable to connect to outgoing server. How do I set up so I can send work emails through outlook when at home?
Have tried smtp.talktalk.net - port 587 etc etc but just going round in circles. Is this something talktalk not allow so I will need to change my broadband provider to fix this?
Grateful for any help, thanks
Steven

Hi Steven
The TalkTalk Mail servers do not authenticate third party sending. You must set up Outlook using the incoming and outgoing server settings provided by your work IT team. The IT team will also advise if you need to set up a VPN to connect to your work servers.
