After a long time trying, I received the following error

Webmail login failureWebmail login failure

I am able to access my email via IMAP, but wanted to access webmail to mark several items as spam.

About 10 minutes later I was able to access the webmail, marked several items as spam, and reported one TalkTalk phishing email. Case may be closed.

Please try using the following link: Using TalkTalk Webmail - TalkTalk Help & Support

If that doesn't work, please get back to me so we can run checks on this. Thanks

The service status notice is only covering Broadband Services, not Email issues in these locations.

We really need to see an alert under the email category too in Service Status Dashboard.

There seems to be an outage in regard to the email issue, I'll list the areas below. I'll investigate the phishing email matter and get back to you okay. Thanks

Here is the top half of the thing.

I have separately reported this to phishing@talktalk.co.uk

This is the second phishing email I have received from an Everymail address.

@jbuchanangb yes, I checked on Service Status Dashboard when I saw staff mention that they were aware of an issue, but nothing had been posted on there. I don't find the Dashboard particularly useful  - it's not nimble.....

There was nothing on the Service Status Dashboard, because I checked at the time, and there was a definite error condition, so I took a screenshot and reported it. I don't usually use webmail, but there was a spate of Spam in my inbox, and I naively imagine that reporting it in the webmail interface might make some difference. I am also appalled that I am getting TalkTalk phishing emails coming at me from (presumably fake) Everymail addresses.

Somewhere I saw mention that there's a latency problem with the webmail access, @jbuchanangb , so, yes, it's not just you.
