My existing full fibre contract ends on the 14th June 2026. For the past few weeks I have been trying to access my renewal options. It gets to the stage of 'finalising a few things" but no further. This hardly encourages me to consider re-contracting.
Is this a known problem and if so how do I get it resolved.
Many thanks,
Chris

I imagine you got the email because you are near the end of your contract and they are obliged by the regulator to notify you of your options, nothing strange in that. Best of luck with Zen, they have a good reputation. Although I do baulk at their prices.

Strange, how shortly after these posts I get a email from Talktalk setting out my renewal options. Obviously a coincidence given that they do not take part in the forum. Looks like I will switch to Zen in a few weeks. Hey ho it was good while it lasted and I will still have many good memories of the Talktalk of the past when the forum was very useful and taking part in 'labs' testing was great fun.

Clearly my mistake. I was not aware that the Talktalk team were no longer involved in the forum. They had always been an excellent resource. Although I have been a Talktalk customer for very many years it looks as though it may well be time to switch to a more customer focused supplier.
Many thanks for responding to my post and putting me straight.
Take care and stay safe,
Chris

Can I just add to what @Divsec said, renewals were never processed by the support team even when they were here, there are various compliance checks that need to made before a new contract can be agreed. In fact the auto renewal options, when shown in My Account, were rarely as good as you can get by good old-fashioned negotiation. Personally, and from my own previous experience, I would wait until you are within the last 30 days of your current deal, so not long now. Then try calling the loyalty/retentions team directly on 0345 172 5157. Do let us know how you get on.

Hi @Chris_M_Ford frustration springs to mind! Sorry that this community has not much it can do to help other than suggest you try calling on 03451720088 and telling them you are planning on leaving etc etc.
