Log in to the Mailbox Manager, and click on the 'Add Mailbox' button.

TalkTalk is fine, when there are no issues, but getting issues resolved can be a real headache.
Incorrect information on TalkTalk help pages is unhelpful.

I see that you had access via the iPhone mail app until you changed your password, which you say you did via TalkTalk webmail, presumably using the 'Forgot your password' link.

 

There have been oher cases where the server settings and login details are correct, yet the account cannot be accessed using an email application, where this has been resolved by deactivating and reactivating the account via the TalkTalk Mailbox Manager, https://apps.talktalk.co.uk/myaccount/#/login.

 

Log in to the Mailbox Manager using your email account address and password, then select 'Mailbox Manager' on the left. Clicking on the arrow to the right of the email account reveals options that include 'Deativate Mailbox'. Deactivating the account does not delete emails in the account. You need to have at least one other email account with admin access rights before you can deactivate the email account, so if you currently only have the one email account, then add another email account with admin access rights, then log out, and log back in using the new email account.

Please note that if you are able to access your emails via webmail, I advise you use that as we don't support third party. Thanks

Yes up until last week I was able to access my talk talk emails via my iPhone mail app. I don’t want to install talk talk mail app.  I was promoted to change password last week, which I did via webmail talk talk and since then unable to access my emails via iPhone mail app. It states that iPhone mail app does support talk talk mail. I have spoken to apple support who have gone through it with me (deleting talk talk mail and then adding talk talk mail account) but same problem. Apple advised me to contact talk talk support. Does talk talk mail support apple mail app? I don’t think so, despite saying it does on talk talk website and your support team. Spoken to talk talk technical support this am, again gone through it all and then was told to contact apple!

Hi there @Bach1, I'll need you to use a web browser. Simply go into any web browser and search TalkTalk webmail, it should direct you to a sign up/login page allowing you to access your emails. Thanks

Yes currently on IOS 18.6.2

deleted account, reapplied - same thing again.

Make sure your iPhone is running the latest version of iOS.  You can try to remove and re-add account.

I understand, have you tried to reboot your device, sometimes, restarting your iPhone can resolve setup issues.

I am getting error Password incorrect (I have changed password twice) still the same error.

I am setting up on IMAP.

How far do you get in setting up? 

 

Are you using imap or pop?

 

Any error messages?

 

Are you using the correct settings as detailed here?
