Hi My problem is after log in it takes 53 sec to load the dashboard  when I click to open email again very slow.  Even worse when I want to reply to a mail it takes 1 min 30 sec to load which really annoying.   I use a PC the browser is Edge and also used Chrome but still have same problem.

I did receive a email from T.T  replied and got NO Reply

Hi again.   I have disabled Mcafee web advisor and seems to improve things.  Also now have TT Mail app on my Pc and hopefully this will help to improve the speed emails load.   Thank you for your help  but found this process very frustrating and drawn out

Oh, I don't get that on my PC but do on my phone.

I think the next thing then is to disable the McFee extension, close the browser then open it and test again.

You can then enable it again if no difference is found, but it would rule this out.

Windows 10 is fine, I asked as a recent issue was found with someone using Windows 7 which is not supported.

Hi again.

I have installed Opera browser as you suggested,   When I went to log in to TT there was a message  Your browser is Not supported.  Support with Chrome94  Firefox 93  Edge 94. Safari 16.    I use Windows 10. .   The only extension I have on browser is Mcfee web advisor .

Has things improved still seams to be slow but not as much

Could you try downloading Opera and logging on without adding any extensions please.

If this shows a marked improvement, I suggest you whitetlist webmails in any pop up or adblocker you may use.

if that doesn't help, reset one of you existing browsers to its initial state and retesting as it may be extensions slowing down the email retrieval.

Then add extensions back one at a time, retesting after each to find the offending one

Hope this helps.

Oh and are you using Windows 10 or 11, or something different as your operating system?

@Artymac, is this lagging happening only on when you load emails or it's something across board on your PC. Kanya

Hello again     I have followed instructions from your email .  I cleared cache and cookies it did improve it but just a little bit.

I use Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome and have the same problem..   I did use Firefox still had the same problem But was a bit better.

I am VERY aware about scam mails claiming there from T.T.    It was a email from the T.T.community  when I clicked on the link it didn't work.  I rechecked the email and was from you.

I have updated my profile page as requested.      The email that you are using to contact me is the one Im have problems with.

I am not impressed with this sort of service its to slow and frustrating when you want to get a problem sorted

Hi,

Are you still having issues? If so I will escalate this as it seems you have been overlooked.

What device are you accessing mail from?

If a PC what operating system are you using and which browser? Have you tried clearing the cache and cookies? If not please try.

Have you tried an alternative browser? Are the results the same? If not again, please try.

You say you received an email from TalkTalk. Was it claiming your email needed verifying? If so did you follow the link? If you did you have responded to a phishing mail and I strongly suggest you change you password, store your contacts offline as a backup and run a full virus and malware scan.

You are in the staff's queue for a response.
For a quicker reply can you please ensure you have your personal information up to date in your profile including your TalkTalk landline phone number so your account can be traced. Link here - https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/user/myprofilepage/tab/personal-profile:personal-info
If you are unsure of your phone number, you can find this in My Account or dial 17070 from your landline phone and this will confirm the number for you.
You can also add your account number in the private notes field, which only you and the support staff can view.

Please also add your affected email address to this field and provide answers to the questions raised.

Please post back when done.
Thank you
