@Vinny1970

Have you confirmed that you can access your email account using webmail, https://apps.talktalk.co.uk/appsuite?

Have you checked the settings in Microsoft Outlook using the link provided by Gliwmaeden2?

There have been other instances where users can access their email via webmail, the settings in their email application are correct, but email access from the application is not possible. Some have found that deactivating and reactivating the email account in the Mailbox Manager, https://apps.talktalk.co.uk/myaccount/#/login, resolves the issue.

To do that, log in to the Mailbox Manager using your email account address and password, then select 'Mailbox Manager' on the left. Clicking on the arrow to the right of the email account reveals options that include 'Deactivate Mailbox'.

Deactivating the account does not delete emails in the account, and your account would still receive emails whilst deactivated. For more information see:

https://help-centre.talktalk.co.uk/Email/Access_or_Check_my_email/Managing_TalkTalk_Mail

You need to have at least one other email account with admin access rights before you can deactivate the email account, so if you currently only have the one email account, add another email account with admin access rights, then log out of Mailbox Manager, and log back in using the new email account.

TalkTalk is fine, when there are no issues, but getting issues resolved can be a real headache.
Incorrect information on TalkTalk help pages is unhelpful.

Wait for staff to come back after the weekend, @Vinny1970.

I don't use Outlook to access my own Talktalk emails, just the default Samsung account. I can add or remove it and then re-add it to any phone and everything is still there because it's still there in webmail too. This is because I use IMAP settings, so it  is not set to delete emails from webmail when they load on the Samsung device so everything remains intact.

POP3 settings do remove the webmail version. Check what you are using.

Now that you are with Everymail, you probably need to check this with them, @Vinny1970.

Sometimes it can be enough to simply remove an account and then set it up again and things fall back into place.

But there may be changes in eg IMAP settings needed.

This is what you would have had specific to Talktalk:
