Broad band not reaching other rooms

I live in a smallish bungalow. Broad band does not reach my bedroom. 11yards away. I have been using a TP link. About 9 years old. This has stopped working. Bought a new set. Cannot get it working

I have downloaded TP link utility. My computer says .Dangerous . do not use.

Please can you elaborate, what model of TP-Link products do you refer to? Are you still using the TalkTalk router? If so, what make/model is it. I assume that you have not checked for WiFi interference, an area that I can help a lot with.
