My connection to the telegraph pole is copper. My next door neighbour has a fibre connection to the same pole (he works for OpenReach). How do i get a fibre connection? Do I have to request it?

My connection is flaky tonight. TalkTalk Speedtest showed 1.5mbps.  I switched off my router at the mains, waited and rebooted and now I'm getting 42.1mbps. Usually I get around 65mbps using wifi connection to laptop.

@fr8ys Thanks for the above advise and @TeeBeeUK I am very sorry to hear that you are having issues with your speed. I can run checks for you to determine the cause of the issue if its okay. Thanks

You can check for offers in my account, or phone the loyalty team.

If you still require a home phone, make certain you order it at the same time and request keeping your existing number.

It may be that TalkTalk don't have offers in your area yet as they may not have partnered with a supplier yet.

If you wish to phone, Try phoning 0345 172 0088
