I have recently upgraded to Fibre 65, but have not had a new router.
I have a HG635 Super Router and my daughter and my grandson have both had issues where their Apple devices have suffered poor or no internet at times when the rest of my devices, Android and Windows,have been working correctly.
There does not seem to be any way to connect with TalkTalk to ask for a new router, but would that help?
I could purchase a third party router, but TalkTalk advise not to do that. Why?
What about an eero 6 router, would that work straight out of the box?

In addition to my last post, is your Fibre 65 delivered over Full Fibre or FTTC & copper wires to the house? An eero 6 is designed to connect directly to the ONT of Full Fibre. It isn't necessarily going to work straight out of the box; it all depends on who provided the FF, if that is what you have. It can be used on the FTTC offering, but only by using your old router connected to the eero; however, like that, it depends on the speed of the Ethernet ports on the HG635, I think that they are 1Gbps, so that should be OK.
Anyway, as I said before, contact the Better Value Team & see what you can sort out.

Whilst I can help with your problem, I am surprised that you did not get a new router after taking out the new contract; you should have been given the new Wi-Fi Hub 3. I would speak to the Better Value team about this.
